The Feldenkrais Method® is taught in two formats: Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) lessons consist of series of movements guided verbally. Learn at your own pace while lying down on the floor, standing or sitting in a chair, inside a room, or outside on the driving range (with or without a club), in a non-competitive environment. Learn to observe the quality of changes in your body and discover new ways of using yourself with more ease, grace and power. Develop self-awareness. Learn to relax and to abandon habitual patterns. Functional Integration® (FI) lesson is a one-to-one learning process, where the practitioner communicates through movement and gentle touch. With non-invasive contact and precise movements that alter habitual patterns and provide new learning, the FI improves the organization and coordination of the nervous, skeletal and muscular system. It is especially useful for people who want to learn to overcome limitations or pain, as well as for those who want to enhance their performance or simply to feel better physically and mentally.
